Morgantown is proud to host the West Virginia Governor’s Conference on Tourism September 29
through October 2, 2025, at the Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place.

Hundreds of tourism leaders, business owners, and industry partners from across the state will be in town
for three days of learning, networking, and exploring all that Mountaineer Country has to offer.

Be prepared for increased visitors, especially those in the Downtown Area. We encourage you to extend a
warm Mountaineer welcome to these guests as they visit our shops, restaurants, and attractions during
their stay. Please join us in hanging our “Welcome,Tourism Champions” sign in your front windows or
check-out areas. Your hospitality helps showcase the very best of our community and leaves a lasting
