WVU-Learfield Extend Partnership with Flagship WV The Torch Through 2025-2026

MORGANTOWN, West Virginia – West Virginia University and Learfield, Inc., the media rights holder for WVU athletics radio broadcasts, have agreed to a one-year contract extension with radio flagship WVTheTorch.com for the 2025-2026 season. WVTheTorch.com and WVSportsNation.com are both owned by the John Fredericks Media Network (JFMN).

The agreement grants JFMN exclusive rights to broadcast live WVU football, men’s and women’s basketball, and baseball across nine affiliate radio signals in the greater Morgantown market.

Radio Network Coverage

The following stations are owned and operated by WV The Torch.com:

  • WGYE 102.7 FM & 95.3 FM – Morgantown WV, Mannington WV
  • WMMN AM 920 & 95.7 FM – Fairmont WV, North Central WV, Wheeling WV
  • WHTI 105.7 FM – Clarksburg WV
  • WZST 100.9 FM – Morgantown WV
  • WBKE AM 1490 & 98.3 FM – Morgantown WV, Fairmont WV, Grafton WV, Marion
  • WRLF 94.3 FM – Morgantown WV, North Central WV, Fairmont WV, Marion, WV

All games will also stream live on the WV The Torch mobile app.

Pittsburgh Market Coverage

JFMN will also carry WVU football games on its Pittsburgh affiliates:

  • WJFG-AM 1480, 107.5 FM – Pittsburgh, PA
  • WJFA-AM 910, 98.7 FM – Pittsburgh, PA

The Rich Rodriguez 2.0 era kicks off August 30 when WVU hosts Robert Morris. Broadcast times are available at WVTheTorch.com.
