The Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) requires businesses to report Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) to FinCEN to enhance financial transparency and deter financial crimes.

As of today, December 4, 2024, Morgantown, West Virginia, business owners have 28 calendar days (or 18 business days) to meet the deadline—non-compliance could result in fines of $500 per day.
