Community

MORGANTOWN, WV — The Morgantown Elks Lodge #411 will host its Kidpreneur Fair – a Kids-Only Vendor Market on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, offering young entrepreneurs a unique opportunity to showcase their creativity, confidence, and business skills in a real-world marketplace setting.

Open to youth ages 7 to 18, the Kidpreneur Fair is designed to introduce children and teens to entrepreneurship by allowing them to create, market, and sell their own products or services. From handmade crafts and art to original business ideas, participants gain hands-on experience interacting with customers and managing sales in a supportive, family-friendly environment.

Each registered vendor receives a 10×10 booth space, including one 8-foot table and two chairs. Wi-Fi access will be available for processing sales, and electricity may be requested in advance. Vendor set-up times are scheduled for Friday evening, March 6, from 6:00–8:00 PM, and Saturday morning, March 7, from 9:00–11:00 AM.

To encourage creativity and engagement, participants will receive certificates of participation, and awards will be presented in categories such as Most Creative Product, Best Presentation, Most Innovative Business Idea, and Best Customer Service. A panel of judges will evaluate booths based on creativity, display, innovation, and customer interaction.

Vendor registration is $5 per participant (plus processing fees), with a registration deadline of Saturday, February 28, 2026. Space is limited, and early registration is encouraged.

The Kidpreneur Fair reflects the Morgantown Elks Lodge #411’s continued commitment to youth development, education, and community involvement, providing a fun and meaningful way for young people to learn valuable life and business skills.
