CNRC Seeks Proposals for Brownfields Assessment Grant Implementation

The Campus Neighborhoods Revitalization Corporation (CNRC) is accepting proposals from qualified environmental and/or planning consulting firms or teams to assist with implementation of an EPA Brownfields Community-Wide Assessment grant in Morgantown.

The project will support environmental assessments, planning and community engagement, with a focus on Sunnyside’s Beechurst Avenue Commercial Corridor. The selected consultant or team will work with CNRC to conduct Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, complete eligible planning activities and support community involvement.

Proposals are due December 9, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. EST. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope containing one hard copy and a USB drive with a digital version. The envelope must clearly identify the submitting firm and the project name: “Campus Neighborhoods Revitalization Corporation Brownfields Assessment Grant.” Submissions may be delivered in person or by post or parcel. Late submissions will not be considered.

Questions are due November 16, 2026, at 5 p.m. EST. Written questions must be emailed to Erik Carlson at Erik@morgantownpartnership.com with the subject line “CNRC RFP Question.”

A summary of questions and responses will be added to the posted RFP by November 23, 2026, at 5 p.m. EST. Respondents should review the full RFP and any addenda before submitting a proposal.
