MORGANTOWN, WV — Tattoo artists and collectors from across the country will travel to Morgantown this year as the West Virginia Tattoo Expo returns for two major weekends celebrating tattoo artistry, creativity, and culture.

The 4th Annual Spring Edition of the West Virginia Tattoo Expo will take place April 10–12, 2026, followed by the 12th Annual West Virginia Tattoo Expo on August 21–23, 2026, both hosted at the Morgantown Event Center next to the Morgantown Marriott at Waterfront Place.

Each event is expected to feature over 200+ nationally recognized tattoo artists, live tattooing happening throughout the weekend, and daily tattoo contests showcasing some of the most creative work being produced in the industry today.  Visitors can get tattooed on site, watch artists work live, and meet professionals representing a wide variety of tattoo styles.

“The West Virginia Tattoo Expo has grown into one of the premier tattoo conventions in the region,” said event producer Rocco Cunningham. “Artists travel here from across the country to work, compete, and connect with collectors. It’s an amazing experience whether you're getting tattooed or simply appreciating the artistry.”

The West Virginia Tattoo Expo allows visitors to walk up and get tattooed the same day, giving fans the opportunity to work with talented artists they may not otherwise have access to. Many artists are already booking appointments in advance, while others will accept clients throughout the weekend.

What Visitors Can Expect

Both weekends will feature:
