This workshop, sponsored by The United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties, Huntington Bank and Steptoe & Johnson PLLC, is designed to enhance your skiIIs and knowledge, which are essential for effective service on the Board of Directors of a nonprofit organization. We will discuss real-world examples of Board dynamics and strategies to help a Board of Directors become more effective. You will hear from accounting professionals who will provide guidance on how to digest typical nonprofit financial statements, as well as legal professionals on governance best practices and potential pitfalls.
