Fourth of July Parade in Downtown Morgantown

A classic community tradition is making its return to Downtown Morgantown. Join residents, businesses, organizations and visitors as the Fourth of July Parade returns to High Street for an evening of celebration, creativity and hometown pride in the heart of Downtown Morgantown.

Inspired by the community spirit that defines Morgantown, the parade aims to bring people together through one of America’s most cherished traditions. Attendees can expect festive floats, local groups, music, patriotic displays, community organizations and plenty of energy throughout Downtown as participants help create a memorable Independence Day celebration.

Community members are encouraged to participate by joining the parade procession, volunteering or simply coming Downtown to celebrate. 

Registration is now open for groups, organizations and participants interested in being part of the parade.

Immediately following the parade, attendees are encouraged to continue the celebration at Hazel Ruby McQuain Park for the City of Morgantown’s Fourth of July festivities. The park opens at 5 p.m. with entertainment beginning at 7 p.m.
