Young Eagles Day

Description

Young Eagles Day offers free airplane rides for youth ages 8–17 and introduces young people to the world of aviation, STEM, and future aviation careers through the support of volunteer pilots from the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA).

In addition to flights, attendees can explore a variety of aircraft, meet members of the Civil Air Patrol, see the HealthNet helicopter and airport fire truck up close, participate in a free ground school program, and enjoy additional hands-on activities inside the airport terminal. Food trucks will also be on site during this event for participants to enjoy.

Pricing

This event is free to the public, but it is recommended to register online beforehand to skip the line on the day of the event.
