The WV Wine & Jazz Fest will take place Sept. 19-20, 2026, at Hazel Ruby McQuain Park, bringing together local wineries and jazz musicians for a weekend of music, culture and community. The festival will be held Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., offering attendees the chance to enjoy live performances in a scenic outdoor setting along the riverfront. The event features wineries from across West Virginia, giving patrons the opportunity to sample a variety of locally produced wines while supporting the state’s growing wine industry. Throughout the weekend, guests can enjoy live jazz performances from local bands and artists, creating a lively and relaxing atmosphere that highlights the region’s musical talent. The festival welcomes residents, visitors and music lovers to experience an enjoyable weekend of wine tasting, live entertainment and community connection in downtown Morgantown.
West Virginia Wine and Jazz Fest, Inc. is a nonprofit organization – 501(c)4 status – that seeks to return the proceeds from the annual festival back to the community in various ways. These include endowed scholarships to the WVU School of Music, sponsorship of educational endeavors and classes at WVU, free concerts for area middle/high schools, sponsorship of various student and community organizations that assist with the festival.
