MRTC Handmade Market

Saturday, April 25, 2026 (12:00 PM - 5:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

The MRTC Handmade Market will take place Saturday, April 25, 2026, from noon to 5 p.m. in Morgantown’s Wharf District along the Mon River Rail-Trails, celebrating local artisans and the kickoff of the spring trail season. Hosted in partnership with Mon River Trails Conservancy, the event coincides with Celebrate Trails Day, a nationwide initiative launched in 2013 by the Rails to Trails Conservancy to encourage people to explore and enjoy local trail systems. The Handmade Market: Art Walk in the Wharf District invites visitors to shop a wide variety of handcrafted goods from local artisans. Vendors will be set up along the rail-trail near popular waterfront spots, offering items such as jewelry, paintings, prints, wood art and other unique, locally made products. Attendees can stroll the trail, support small businesses and experience the vibrant arts scene in a scenic outdoor setting along the Monongahela River. Ten percent of all artisan sales will be donated to support the local rail-trail system, helping maintain and enhance these community spaces. The event is part of Main Street Morgantown’s affiliate programming and welcomes residents, visitors and trail enthusiasts of all ages to enjoy an afternoon of shopping, exploration and community connection.

The MRTC Handmade Market is a Main Street Morgantown Affiliate Event.
