Deer Resistant Gardening

Monday, April 14, 2025 (6:00 PM - 8:00 PM) (EDT)

Description

Have you struggled with deer in your garden? Deer are extremely adaptable and they will eat almost anything if they are hungry enough. WVBG Horticulturist Ed Mason will detail how the WVBG manages these challenges. He will share native species that are deer-resistant and discuss deer-repelling best practices that can be implemented to protect your plants. Handouts on “deer resistant” plants and samples of control products we use at the WVBG will be provided. Bring this knowledge home to help you be successful in the 2025 gardening season. Ages 12+. $5 for WVBG members, $15 for non-members. Preregistration is required, sign up today at wvbg.org
