Intro to Digital Photography
Intro to Digital Photography covers basic concepts and practice of digital photography, including understanding and use of the camera (DSLR and Mirrorless), lenses, and other basic photographic equipment. The course will address aesthetic principles as they relate to composition, space, exposure, light and color. Bringing in your own DSLR/Mirrorless camera is recommended but NOT required. We will be learning how to operate a camera by doing hands-on practices. We will also be heading outside to discover different lighting situations, compositions and atmospheres to learn and get comfortable with. This is by no means a sit down lecture format. The true experience is being out on the field with your camera and this class gives the community that space to do so. You don't need any past experience to attend this class, ALL ARE WELCOMED.
